I've been getting back into using Kitchendraw again after a few years of using Nexus.

It was only when we went to KBB last year (or was it the year before???) and Kitchendraw had a stand there, that I realised Kitchendraw were pretty much bang up to date with the Crown Imperial Catalogue, including true handleless options.

Done quite a few designs using KD over the last year, which have undoubtedly won us the job but I just thought I'd share an "imaginary project" with you that I was playing around with last weekend.

It's a sort of barn/warehouse conversion with a ground floor kitchen and living space and a small office on a mezzanine.....there are certain elements of this that would make you think I had designed this with myself in mind!  LOL.

Enjoy the pics!!

These are a lot better than what I’m able to produce with nexus.

I’m wanting to upgrade to articad this year though.

Nexus is definitely easier to use, even with all the modifications I made to it.

Kitchendraw is more precise and, if you're like me, you'll spend probably an unnecessary amount of time doing the pretty stuff instead of just showing a basic layout.

At then end of the day, it's all about how much time and effort you are prepared to spend on it. If I feel i job warrants it then it's KD. If I need a quick visualisation then it's Nexus.
